Hello to all my supporters. Sorry I have been away for awhile. Life's calling has me very busy these days, but not too busy to write a story about Rush Limbaugh. All it took for me to return was one good story line. Thanks to a disgraced radio host, I have my story. Rush Limbaugh, the same guy that was thrown off Monday Night Football for making derogatory statements about Donovann Mcnabb and all the other black quarterdecks in the NFL, has now had his small minority stake canceled out by the NFL powers that be. Roger Goodell and Irsay came out as outspoken critics of a guy who is known to be a conservative bigot. Good ole Rush would have you believe it was Obama, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton that canceled his NFL ticket, but not so fast. First of all, Jackson, and Sharpton may be outspoken critics of Rush, but they sure do not discriminate, only against bigots. Next of all, what has Obama got to do with this? Rush, wake up and stop taking those mail order prescriptions buddy. Maybe Goodell, who is known as the character policeman, thought wisely to exclude a racist, pill popping, conservative bigot with a huge following on radio. Good move Goodell. The town just aint big enough for the two of them. Anyway, all the black players on the Rams were against Rush and said they would never play for him, even if his interests were a minority stake.
His partners had no problem throwing him under the bus either. Jared Allen, DE for the vikings, was one of the more outspoken critics concerning the Rash becoming part of the group. I don't think the NFLPA would have allowed it anyway but it was good to see the commish step to the plate. Now we will be forced to hear about the fallout with the Rash whining about liberals controlling the NFL. After all; of all the major sports, the NFL is the best example of the socialist principle of redistribution of wealth. Don't think for a second that the blowhard won't jump all over that little caveat. Nice article Brent.
