TO PROSECUTE OR NOT TO PROSECUTE?

Weigh in on the issue. Over at my other now defunct blog at Today.com, we had this debate about prosecuting those who oechestrated torture and the subsequent cover up. Now the debate rages again. Please feel free to leave your comments.

  1. I see its been a while since you last posted. I'll put in my two cents here - but you probably already know what it is - first - no one did any torturing during the Bush administration. They followed the guidelines to a T that was set in place in the Federal Register under the Clinton administration. Eric Holder was the assistant Attorney General when those rules were set in place. For him to prosecute anybody now would also mean he would have to recuse himself as he was party to the original laws. You can google "Federal Register and definition of torture" and you will find the guidelines he did nothing to stop. If Holder disapproves - he too is to blame. This is nothing more than political posturing.
